A sensational candle art experience where memories glow!

Immerse yourself in the sensational world of candle making at WMODA. Our expert instructor is Nini Montanez, the award-winning founder of Candle Nerds, and she will guide you through the process from choosing scents and colors to pouring and setting your one-of-a-kind candles.

Unleash your artistic creativity as you select the colorful dyes to be used in your swirl candle made from Coconut Apricot wax. Select your signature scent from a seasonal menu – Pumpkin Souffle, Cranberry Woods, Apples and Maple Bourbon, White Oak Vanilla, Black Sea, and Black Violet Saffron.

While your candle sets in its clear glass container, you can stroll through the museum enjoying all the exhibitions, including Red · The Fired Arts are Hot.

You will leave the museum with your candle, which will be ready to burn in 24-48 hours.

All materials for candle-making are included, along with the use of specialized equipment and expert instruction for the 1.5-hour class. The cost of the class also includes admission to the museum and is $65 or $60 for WMODA Members.

The WMODA workshop is a safe and unique experience with non-toxic materials. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy

We offer guests a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before their scheduled workshop. If a guest needs to cancel within 24 hours, we will offer a credit for a future workshop.
