Sunday Opening • Tiny Treasures

Starting on October 26, WMODA will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The new Sunday opening hours will give more time for families and people who work weekdays to enjoy our Fired Arts museum. Take an audio cell phone tour of the galleries, have fun with our scavenger hunts and support local artists in the WMODA Museum Shop.

The new WMODA opening schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

On Sunday, October 26, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm you can watch Alex Meiklejohn throw miniature ceramics on the potter’s wheel. You can also have fun with our new Tiny Treasures Trail and hunt for Alex’s minis hidden throughout the museum. Alex’s tiny designs include spooky ghosts, Jack-o'-Lanterns, and marvelous monsters, which can be purchased as Trick-or-Treat gifts in the WMODA Museum Shop.

Mirela Popovici will introduce the Teal Pumpkin Project, which helps make trick-or-treating safer for children with food allergies on Halloween. Watch her make a pumpkin on the potter’s wheel from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
