Let LOVE Guide You to WMODA for a private screening of Lloyd Goradesky’s new documentary about his Love and Universal Kindness project, which has melted the hearts of our museum visitors for many years.

On Sunday, February 8, meet Lloyd and the film’s producer, award-winning filmmaker Kirk Gillon, and hear about the development of his monumental kinetic weathervane, which has become a landmark in Hollywood. See this iconic public art project outside the Dolce Hotel across from the guitar building at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.

Discover more about the creation of this engineering marvel from the artist, his engineer, and metal workers, and hear why the city officials and developers have chosen Lloyd’s project to represent the power of art in their community and share the message of compassion, consideration and tolerance for everyone.
The private screening of the movie will be followed by a panel discussion. Book soon as seats are limited for this special event.

Let Love Guide Your Way follows artist Lloyd Goradesky on a journey that begins in Florida and unfolds across continents—guided by a single, radical mantra: let love and kindness guide your way.

The film opens in present-day Ghana, West Africa, where Lloyd reflects on how a simple public art project unexpectedly carried him far beyond its original home. From there, the story moves fluidly through time, weaving together archival footage of the sculpture’s creation with moments of reflection, revealing how a single act of love can ripple outward into the world.

At the heart of the film is Lloyd’s kinetic weathervane—a towering red heart-and-arrow sculpture that is constantly moving and changing direction, yet always pointing toward love. As it takes shape, the film explores the role of public art as a force for connection, dialogue, and quiet transformation.

Ultimately, Let Love Guide Your Way is a meditation on a simple truth: love is not a destination—it is the journey. It never ends. It is only just beginning.
