Arthur and Louise watching Paul at work
In 2019, Arthur Wiener and Louise Irvine were privileged to visit Paul’s studio and watch the master at work in his sanctuary. A recent acquisition, entitled Arthur’s Garden, features Arthur’s favorite root people and encapsulates Paul’s spirituality with the words “Thank you Lord.” The motto of the Benedictine monks, “Laborare est orare - to work is to pray,” is inscribed on Paul’s studio wall and reflects his belief that his creative process is a form of worship.
Watch the Flower & Flame documentary and then come to WMODA to appreciate the intricacies of Paul’s work in person.
