It has been a labor of love presenting all the spectacular furniture, poufs and pillows from South Africa in our new Ardmore Design Shop. We were delighted to welcome the team from Ngala Trading, Ardmore’s US distributor, to preview our showroom. WMODA stocks dozens of Ardmore pillows in velvet, silk, cotton and Solaris outdoor fabrics. Call if you see something interesting, and we can arrange purchases before the museum reopens. We can also drop-ship Ardmore table linens in time for your holiday parties.

WMODA now offers gorgeous Ardmore furnishing fabrics by the yard for your home decorating projects. You will soon be able to browse our sample books for all the Ardmore Collections, including Zambezi, Sabie and Thanda. For inspiration, Ngala Trading has donated some beautiful fabrics to create door and window treatments for our new gallery. The door will be draped with a linen curtain in Monkey Bean ash color, which is Ardmore's best-selling pattern. The window blind is being made in the gold velvet Safari Spot pattern, Ardmore's stylish leopard print from the new Thanda collection.

Thanda means love in the Zulu language, and Fèe Halsted, Ardmore’s founder and Art Director, was inspired by her son’s wedding celebrations at Thanda Safari Game Reserve in South Africa. The Thanda Toile pattern includes elephants, warthogs, giraffes and crowned cranes that Fèe spotted among the Candelabra Ficus and Kiepersol trees. Thanda Nests depicts the industrious male weaver bird, which makes many nests until the female accepts one as a suitable home for raising a family. What an appropriate housewarming gift for newlyweds!

The Pangolin Park pattern features the endangered pangolin with a leopard, zebra and kudu in a fantasy jungle. The limited-edition statement sofa at WMODA is covered in a robust linen mix, and the fabric is also available in velvet and outdoor material and as ready-made pillows. Next year, we will receive the Pangolin Park tablecloths in the trending flame color.
