Our expert instructor, Nini Montanez, award-winning founder of Candle Nerds, will guide you through the entire process, from choosing scents and colors to pouring and setting a one-of-a-kind swirl candle.

Candle Workshop 2025
Unleash your artistic creativity as you select vibrant, colored dyes for your marble candle made from Coconut Apricot wax.
Select your signature scent from a seasonal spring menu – Azure Coast, Ginger Lime, Lavender Delight, Tulip Fields & Black Coral Moss
While your candle cools in its clear glass apothecary jar, you are invited to stroll through the museum and enjoy the Fired Arts on display.
You will leave the museum with your candle in hand, reflecting your artistic spirit, which will be ready to burn 24-48 hours after the class.
All materials for candle-making are provided, including the glass container, use of specialized equipment and expert instruction for the 1.5-hour class. The cost for the class is $65, or $60 for WMODA members.
The WMODA workshop is a safe and unique experience with non-toxic materials. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
