Sign up for Chelsea Rousso’s next Creative Glass Workshop in our WMODA Wonderland and your work will be exhibited in the museum’s Hot Glass Gallery. On Friday, February 11, we will be making fused glass table décor inspired by our Alice in Wonderland exhibits. You can choose to make a square or round plate to serve “Eat Me” cakes perfect for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Then join us for tea on Friday, February 25 to review your creations and see them on display in the museum.
Experience the joy of creating your own work of art at WMODA as Chelsea shows you her techniques for making kiln-formed glass art. No previous experience is necessary to get creative as Chelsea will take you through the process step by step. Have fun exploring the brilliant translucency of glass with your fellow students surrounded by the museum’s inspirational collection of fired arts. You will be amazed by your hidden talents when you see your piece after firing and collect it from the WMODA exhibition.
Ignite your own creative spark at a 2 ½ hour glass-fusing workshop with Chelsea using superior glass from Bullseye Glass Co. Chelsea’s workshop will be held in the Hot Glass Gallery at WMODA from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 11. The cost is $100 which includes expert instruction, all materials and a follow-up review with your new friends.
