The Outgoing Tide
Before the tide turns and our aquatic exhibition comes to an end, catch the last wave of Splash! when we’ll bid farewell to our acclaimed exhibition, celebrating world-renowned artists and talented local creators who have transformed molten glass and raw clay into mesmerizing marine life, ocean currents, and underwater wonders. It will be a full day of artistic exploration and inspiring encounters.
Throughout the all-day celebration of Splash! guests can meet artists featured in the exhibition and discover how the sea has inspired their work. Guests can also purchase their work through the WMODA Shop.

Meet the Artists Making a Splash at WMODA
Grace Chepenik celebrates nature, energy, and connection in blown glass. Her glass shark-teeth sculptures are exhibited in Splash!, and she will wear her beautiful sea nymph costume, created for the Glass Art Society Fashion Show, to create memorable photo opportunities.
Suzanne Barton is a fine art photographer of ethereal underwater images. Most of her limited-edition photos feature graceful, serene women in a hypnotic dance beneath the waves. Her jellyfish and turtle dancers are now on display in Splash!
Luis and Nini Montanez, the creatives behind Candle Nerds and Matchless Glass, will present their award-winning Evolution wax sculptures, along with exquisite new and vintage jewelry inspired by treasures of the ocean.
Chadd Lacy creates flamework glass art, often exploring oceanic themes, with a playful eccentricity. His pod of dolphins is on display in Splash!
Dive into Action with Our Community Partners
Art and conservation initiatives unite at WMODA to make a difference in our community. Learn more about how you can be a part of the conservation community long after Splash! closes.
Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (S.T.O.P.) will offer two private screenings of a powerful new documentary on how light pollution affects sea turtle hatchlings. S.T.O.P. volunteers will be available to answer questions about their critical work protecting these delicate creatures.
Ocean Rescue Alliance International (ORAI) representatives will share how you can support vital local coral reef restoration. Find out more about the Guardians of the Reef snorkeling site offshore in Hollywood and take some souvenir photos with the mermaid tail loaned by the 1,000 Mermaids Project.
