The Persian Series

The exotic Persian forms with spiraling body wraps and herringbone effects began in 1986.  The rhythmic designs in jewel-toned luminous glass were used for table-top compositions as well as wall and ceiling installations. The Persian wall, now at WMODA, was commissioned in 1996 for Wolf Gang Puck’s Postrio restaurant in San Francisco.

“In the beginning, the Persians had to do with the contrast between two colors ... between open and closed forms ... and the intensity of the body wraps,”
