Esther Underhay’s mission is to make the harp “sing” and to touch the hearts of her audience. With her Elegant Harp recital, she brings the joy of music to the museum. Esther’s program includes Classical music, jazz, Broadway favorites and pop,  which she will perform in the stunning setting of the Chihuly glass collection at WMODA. The Virtual Event featuring The Elegant Harp at WMODA will premiere online Saturday, May 30.

Esther Underhay has performed professionally in concert on the harp in the United States, Canada, and around the world on Celebrity Cruises. Having majored in harp and piano at The University of Manitoba, she has performed in numerous orchestras and was often featured on Canada’s CBC television and radio.

Originally from Florida, Esther now enjoys the best of both worlds, performing at corporate and social events from Palm Beach to Miami most of the year, and in Northern New York in the summer. She is kept very busy performing as a harp duo with her daughter AnnaLisa, as well as in her jazz ensemble, Radiance.

Throughout her career, Esther has performed for many world leaders including President and Mrs. H.W. Bush, President and Mrs. Bill Clinton, President and Mrs. Donald Trump, and H.R.H. Prince Edward.
