Sheryl Whittecar is a self-taught designer and artist. She was born and raised in Kansas, where she taught herself how to make her own clothes, create ceramic art and design items from paper. In her Grandmother’s cedar chest, Sheryl found a box of old Christmas cards dating back to the 1940s. These vintage cards were too beautiful to discard, so she repurposed them into new holiday cards. To give each card a 3-D effect, Sheryl began searching antique and thrift stores for old vintage cards that could be cut up. Soon, she began adding other greeting cards to the range, including birthdays, anniversaries and weddings. Sheryl’s one-of-a-kind cards can be purchased in stationery stores and gift shops throughout the United States.
