This local jewelry company is a family-owned business. It is the brainchild of Luis Montanez, the building manager for WMODA, who was introduced to glass art through his work at the museum. He sources Murano glass novelties for his range of pendants which make affordable souvenirs in the museum’s gift shop. Luis also works with glass artists in our community to present their glass “gems” as fashionable pendants with 20-inch sterling silver chains. Many of his glass jewels come from Chelsea Rousso’s studio in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Chelsea holds regular creative glass workshops at WMODA to discover the joys of making kiln-formed fused glass. Chelsea also makes her own line of jewelry, which is also sold at WMODA.
