Henry Levine

Henry Levine is a master craftsman from Bethesda, Maryland, who specializes in studio glass art. His early inspiration came from museum visits to Washington, DC, with his father and fond memories of a family vacation to the Virgin Islands — experiences that echo in his work through elements of nature. He began taking pottery classes at a local art cooperative and continued developing his passion in high school. At Alfred University’s New York State College of Ceramics, he studied production pottery but eventually fell in love with glass blowing. In 1999, Henry moved to Albany, Ohio, where he focused on studio glass. With over 45 years of experience, his work features rich colors, dynamic swirls and fossilized shell-like patterns influenced by nature and artistic interpretation.
