Anne Orvieto took her first fused glass class in 2015 and became obsessed with kiln-formed glass as an art form. She loves working with translucent, opaque and iridescent glass to create abstract landscapes, seascapes, rainbows and floral gardens. She is inspired by every sunrise and sunset, as the light creates a myriad of ever-changing colors. She always considers how light and shadows can enhance her artwork. Every piece of glass offers her endless possibilities of expression beyond the traditional boundaries of kiln-formed glass. Anne lives in Fort Lauderdale and regularly assists at the creative glass workshops held at WMODA.
