PBS Victoria Preview Screening & Afternoon Tea

The Wiener Museum was the setting for a wonderful afternoon tea party hosted by South Florida PBS on January 11th to preview the second season of Victoria. More than 16 million viewers tuned into Victoria’s premiere season making it the highest rated drama on PBS, second only to Downton Abbey. Friends and supporters of PBS and WMODA attended the event in all their finery to enjoy a delicious tea served on Royal Albert fine china followed by the screening of the episode. Louise Irvine, Executive Director of WMODA, introduced the Art of Tea exhibit and shared anecdotes about enjoying a traditional English afternoon tea. There were prizes for the most beautiful hat worn that afternoon, including the most Victorian extravaganza. Photos by Aylin Marcello
