The Artists of Ardmore – Fiso Radebe

The Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts was delighted to welcome Fiso Radebe, an Ardmore artist from South Africa on November 15th. Fiso is one of the bright young stars of the Ardmore studio and he was the star of our Wednesday at WMODA evening as he demonstrated his painting skills and shared stories about his fellow artists. He also signed copies of the beautiful Ardmore book which were being snapped up as holiday gifts.

Louise Irvine gave a lecture celebrating 33 years of Ardmore and the evolution of their ceramic art and design collections. Frank and Joan Cauce from Lee Jofa displayed samples of the new Ardmore wallpaper by Cole & Sons and the Ardmore’s new Zambezi sofa was unveiled on this occasion. Ed Pascoe presented an exhibition of Ardmore pieces for sale to benefit the museum. The new museum shop at WMODA now features pillows from Ardmore’s Zambezi collection as well as table runners and napkins to introduce the spirit of Africa to your home.
