Fused Glass for Protection & Power

WMODA members are invited to an exclusive workshop led by Chelsea Rousso on Friday, February 13th, to design and create a fused glass amulet. Your own protective symbol, created by you, will be a visual reminder of strength, healing and intention.

Chelsea has received a grant from the Broward Cultural Division for a series of Amulets of Light workshops, which provide a space for healing and creativity. In a world filled with negativity, uncertainty and emotional overload, art is a tool for light, connection and personal empowerment.

Chelsea will take each amulet, measuring 2 to 4 inches, for kiln firing in her studio. All the amulets from the workshop series will be kept temporarily to become part of The Amulets of Light exhibition at WMODA, running from March 21st to April 26th. Each amulet will be returned to its creator for personal use as a pendant or hanging charm after the conclusion of the WMODA installation. The special low cost of $20 for this community-based glass workshop is possible thanks to the support of the Broward Cultural Division and WMODA. Spaces are very limited, so book without delay.
